Why TLTRs are coming back!

Why we are at a point of discontinuity - PARADIGM SHIFT

TLT Roundtables facilitated readjustment, reorg - new stable structure - many thought no longer needed Roundtable because of new structure (in part IT dept expansion, role CIO, librarians) ;  but now THAT new structure isn't well able to deal with this new discontinuity (T/L centers roles?) 

[TLTRs might fade away again TEMPORARILY as new structures emerge]  
Key point:  TLTRs are NOT part of or conflicting with the heirarchical system/structure 
[Insert old big triangle little circle outside near the top - basic guidelines were right for somethinhg to be useful in this way!!!!  non-threatening but helpful)

FOCUSING ON SPECIFIC INSTITTUIONS - LEADING TO DEVELOPMENT OF "STUFF" THAT CONTRIBUTE TO (OR BECOME OR ARE) "MODULES"

MAYBE A MODULE IS A COMBINATION OF TLTG IDEAS/RESOURCES MODIFIED, ASSEMBLED TO FIT LOCAL NEEDS, CONDITIONS, ABILITY TO USE THEM;   AS WE DO MORE OF THIS WE CAN DESCRIBE THESE "CONCRETE" MODULES TO OTHERS AND ENABLE MORE TO REPLICATE/ADAPT

OUR TALENT IS TO LISTEN, GROPE TOWARD BETTER FIT, SELECT OUR STUFF, ADAPT TO THEIR NEEDS, INTERESTS, ETC.
